Aromatherapy to induce Romance
Filed Under (Aromatherapy for Romance) by Elizabeth on 11-09-2008
Aromatherapy can be used very effectively to initiate a mood for romance and intimacy. It is so easy to create a romantic ambiance.
But how does that work ? Is it real ? bloodstream providing physical therapeutic benefits. Moreover, when an essential oil is applied to skin (never undiluted), it penetrate the skin and enter the bloodstream this way.
When you inhale an essential oil, it will activates your nerve cells in the nasal cavity that convey impulses that stimulate the brain and create positive feelings and emotions. The substance of the essentials oils are drawn into the lungs and bloodstream giving physical therapeutic benefits. Aromatherapy may be beneficial in fighting various illness and promoting emotional health.
The sense of smell is pretty powerful. In fact, the body can distinguish around 10,000 different scents! Surprised ?
As scents are inhaled, the smell travels across the olfactory nerves located inside the nose and then up into the part of the brain that controls our moods, our memories and our ability to learn. This area is called the Limbic System and when stimulated it releases endorphins, neurotransmitters and other “feel-good” chemicals. What all of that means is that smells have a subtle way of effecting your mind and e
motions.
Just think of the way you feel when you sniff the scent from a fresh bouquet of flowers, remember about the last time you smelled a rose. They have a gorgeous aroma. In that moment it fills us with joy. You instantly feel better. There are signals to our brain that activate smell-related emotions and feelings. Aromatherapy scents can make you feel good!
Having a night out and want someone you’re eyeing take notice on you? There will be a perfect essential oil perfume for you.
Pleasant aromas have been proven to soothe stress and can also foster romance. You can use candles, sprays, or even burn a little incense. Keep it subtle. Remember: scent is the number one sense associated with memory. Smell great and you’re bound to leave a lasting impression.
Here is one of my favorite recipe that may suite your mood for romance !
Just combine these oils :
- 1 drop Ylang Ylang (Ylang Ylang pure oil has a very floral fragrance and is one of the most used by perfume industries. But unfortunately most of them use synthetic oil that has no health benefit)
- 1 drop Tangerine
- 2 drops Jasmine
- 2 drops Lavender
- 2 drops Vanilla
- 3 drops German Chamomile
- 1/4 ounce Jojoba oil
Use a small dark glass vial to store your perfume oil, and be sure to keep the lid on tight. You can also add a few drops of Vitamin E oil as an antioxidant to help preserve this oil-based perfume blend.
If you and your love one are looking for a romantic and memorable summer bliss ambiance, try this magic aromatherapy oils blend, you will feel wonderful and full of joy, and wishing that summer vacation never ends.
Combine These Aromatherapy Oils:
